Arco-flagellants are terrifying cyborg shock-troops used by the Imperium of Man in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. They are criminals or heretics who have been sentenced to brutal “redemption” by the Ecclesiarchy (the Imperium’s religious authority), particularly under the orders of the Adeptus Ministorum or the Ordo Hereticus of the Inquisition.
